Factory warranty

I know it's long since expired, but does anybody know what the Nissan factory warranty was on a GQ? I was talking to a mate earlier, and it somehow came up during our inane ramblings.

So I thought I'd ask the P4x4 brains trust, especially as a couple of them probably still have the original paperwork outlining said warranty.

I see there's a few other answers to this question so my best guess is that nissan changed the warranty period a few times. My old fella told me when his brother was looking at buying one, he was looking at the maverick and the patrol and got them both down to about the same price, he ended up going the patrol since at the time the Maverick only offered 6 month warranty where's the patrol offered 12 month. This was 1988-89, so obviously they upped the time period on the warranty during the 90's.

Just under the 100000ks one month on warranty, engine wouldn’t go, had started to miss on a trip back from lightning ridge. They put a new common rail on at my expense, still didn’t fix it, they wanted to put a new IP on at my expense with no guarantee that it would fix it. Was running, roughly and they couldn’t guarantee repair without putting more stuff.
I now drive a hybrid.

Sounds awful mate, sorry that happened to you. For what it's worth I wouldn't go within 50km of a nissan dealer since 2010, but understand this **** happened and too often not just by nissan
